Translation of Jacek Dukaj’s "Lód" nominated for the Magnesia Litera
The nominations for the most prestigious Czech literary award Magnesia Litera have been announced. Among the three titles awarded for translation was Jacek Dukaj’s Lód ("Ice"). The translation by Michala Benešová and Michael Alexa was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.

“Księgi Jakubowe” by Olga Tokarczuk nominated for the International Booker Prize
Księgi Jakubowe (“The Books of Jacob”) by Olga Tokarczuk, translated by Jennifer Croft, has been nominated for International Booker Prize. The Jury presented the thirteen longlisted titles yesterday.

Polish nominees for the "Jackets off!" competition in Bologna
As part of the trade fair Bologna Book Plus, this year, for the first time, the international exhibition Jackets off! will showcase the most beautiful adult book covers. Three projects from Poland will be featured in Bologna.
