On the occasion of World Poetry Day, the EUNIC Cluster of Rome (National Cultural Institutes of the European Union), in collaboration and with the support of FUIS (Italian Writers' Federation), is hosting a poetry evening with poets from thirteen different European countries on 21 March at the headquarters of the Hungarian Academy in Rome. Krzysztof Siwczyk will take part in it.
Alongside the Polish poet, the meeting moderated by Marco Dotti will also feature Christoph W. Bauer from Austria, Petya Laleva from Bulgaria, Petr Borkovec from the Czech Republic, Daniela Attanasio from Italy, Indrė Valantinaitė from Lithuania, Catarina Nunes de Almeida from Portugal, Marta Petreu from Romania, Marián Milčák from Slovakia, Gašper Malej from Slovenia, Ángela Segovia from Spain, Nora Gomringer from Switzerland, and Dániel Levente Pál from Hungary.
All poems will be read by the authors in their original language, and the Italian translation will be projected on screen.
The meeting will take place on Monday at 7 p.m. in via Gulia 1, Palazzo Falconieri.
