As part of the trade fair Bologna Book Plus, this year, for the first time, the international exhibition Jackets off! will showcase the most beautiful adult book covers. Three projects from Poland will be featured in Bologna.
The Book Institute staff and experts selected three covers:

- ”Jadłonomia po polsku” by Marta Dymek (typographical design by Olek Modzelewski, cover design by Ola Niepsuj)
- ”Raster Lichtensteina” by Agnieszka Wolny-Hamkało (designed by Joanna Jopkiewicz)
All three covers will be featured at the Bologna 2022 Jackets Off exhibition (for further details check: https://www.bolognachildrensbookfair.com/en/about/bolognabookplus/jacket-design-award-bbplus/11388.html)
During the fair, book covers of Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid’s Tale from all over the world will also be presented, including the Polish edition published by Wielka Litera.
Bologna Book Plus is a new trade fair held alongside the Bologna Children's Book Fair - the International Children's Book Fair in Bologna, Italy. They were designed as a complement to the latter, dedicated to books for an adult audience. The event was inaugurated online in 2021, and this year, it will be held in an in-person format for the first time (between 21 and 24 March).
