A meeting devoted to the works of Józef Mackiewicz took place in Budapest
On Thursday 17th November, the Polish Institute in Budapest hosted a meeting on the life and works of Józef Mackiewicz, entitled 'Only the truth is interesting'. It was organised with the support of the Polish Embassy in Hungary and the Polish Book Institute.

Adam Mickiewicz’s “Dziady” staged in Georgia for the first time
The performative reading of the second part of Adam Mickiewicz's Dziady (“Forefathers' Eve”) was its first public presentation in Georgia. It was held on Friday 18th November at the D. Aleksidze Theatre at the Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University in Tbilisi. The remaining parts will be staged next year.

Hungarian awards for Polish translators of literature
Two translators of Hungarian literature into Polish - Anna Butrym and Daniel Warmuz - received the Hungarian Silver Crosses of Merit for their translation achievements and activities for Hungarian culture. The award ceremony took place on 25 November at the Hungarian Embassy in Warsaw.
