A book dedicated to Gustaw Herling-Grudziński presented in Rome
"Gustaw Herling and his world" is the title of a book published in Italy and devoted to the Polish writer, author of Inny świat (“A World Apart”). This volume was presented last week at the Polish Institute in Rome. The writer lived in Naples for 45 years until his death in 2000. The volume is a summary of the literary festival devoted to the life and works of Gustaw Herling-Grudziński held in the city in 2019.

Adrian Cvitanović wins prestigious award for translation of Herling-Grudziński
Translator Adrian Cvitanović received the prestigious Iso Velikanović Award for the best translation of 2020. Cvitanović translated Gustaw Herling-Grudziński's Dziennik pisany nocą (“Journal Written at Night) into Croatian. The publication of the book was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.

In Croatia, the translation of Gustaw Herling-Grudziński’s Dziennik pisany nocą ("Journal Written at Night") has been recently published. The book was translated by Adrian Cvitanović. The publication was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.
