Opowiadania bizarne (“Tales of the Bizarre”) by Olga Tokarczuk, translated by Maryla Laurent, was included in the list of one hundred best books of the year by ‘Lire’ magazine.

The laureate of this year’s award The Prix Laure-Bataillon for the best foreign-language book translated into French in the last year was Maryla Laurent for the translation of Olga Tokarczuk's Księgi Jakubowe (“The Books of Jacob”).
