The Polish Book Institute

A translation of three books by Marek Hłasko into Swedish has been published. The volume, published by the Prosak publishing house, includes translations of Ósmy dzień tygodnia (“The Eighth Day of the Week”), Cmentarze (“The Graveyard”), and Piękni dwudziestoletni (“Beautiful Twentysomethings”). The prose published in the volume “N_1 Marek Hłasko” was translated into Swedish by Patricia Cukrowska and its publication was supported by the Book Institute under the ©POLAND Translation Programme.

The translation of Barbara Klicka's of Zdrój (“Sanitorium”) has been published in Sweden. The publication of the translation by Patricia Cukrowska was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.
