The Beijing International Book Fair started last Thursday. The Beijing International Book Fair is Asia's largest book fair, where more than two and a half thousand publishers from 90 countries around the world exhibit their books each year, and which is attended by more than 300,000 readers and book market professionals. The Polish stand was organised by the Book Institute.
Our information stand of 9m2 was operated by the local Polish Institute. Due to Covid restrictions, the presence of Book Institute representatives was not possible this year.
At the stand, we presented the catalogues "Books from Poland" and "Polish Books for Children & Young Adults" from the last two years, among other things. Children's and young adult literature is in high demand at the fair.
The fair concluded on Sunday.
