(born in 1948) - prose writer, screenwriter, and film director.

In 1966-1967, he studied acting at the PWST (National Higher School of Theatre) in Warsaw. In 1972, he graduated from the Faculty of Forestry of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, and in 1978 - from the Direction Department of the National Film School in Łódź.
