(born in 1990) the author of children’s and teenagers’ books and an illustrator. She participates in exhibitions and competitions, she also organises workshops for children and teenagers. She is a PhD student at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Visual Communication at the University of Arts in Poznań. The books illustrated by Joanna Bartosik were nominated and awarded many times. 

She has to her credit, among other things, a graphic nomination in the competition ‘Book of the Year 2015’ organised by the Polish Section of IBBY (for the Polish-French La Fontaine’s Fables), the first place in the competition "Themersons Street" organised by the Płock Art Gallery (for the leporello Ulica [Street]), recognition award in the competition "Trzy/Mam/Książki" (for the project RAZ, DWA, TRZY [ONE, TWO, THREE] published by the publishing house ‘Widnokrąg’), a graphic nomination in the competition ‘Book of the Year 2016’ organized by the Polish Section of IBBY (for the book Raz, DWA, trzy – słyszymy [One, TWO, three – we can hear]), a nomination for the Ferdinand the Great Award for the Best Polish Book for Children 2016 (for the book Raz, dwa, TRZY – mówimy [One, Two, THREE – we can speak), an award for the series RAZ, DWA, TRZY (ONE, TWO, THREE) in the 9th Halina Skrobiszewska Children's Literature Competition, and the incorporation of the book into the Treasure List of the Museum of Children's Books (2017). Joanna Bartosik also cooperates with the Oculino publishing house, which cares for the development and vision rehabilitation of young readers.
