Her book Chimney Sweep, Baker is a disarmingly simple and witty forward-and-backward board book about two hard-working brothers. One dresses in black, the other in white. One works during the day, the other at night. They’re two brothers: a chimney sweep and a baker. How else do they differ and how are they alike? You’ll learn about them in funny black-white-and-red illustrations and pithy rhyming text that elegantly uses the onomatopoeic words so beloved by young children.
