Non stop – Polish literature abroad
Writers, poets, illustrators, translators, publishers, agents and institutions interested in organizing events with their participation outside Poland are invited to contact us.

Travels of literary creators (writers, poets, illustrators, translators):
- The aim is to promote the literary and artistic work of Polish authors and translations of their works.
- Interested parties are invited to send applications by e-mail: targi@instytutksiazki.pl. Please include the text "Non stop - Polish literature abroad" in the title of the e-mail.
- The message should include the following information: which creator is the subject of the application – who would be taking part in the trip; the name and date of the event; the most important information about the initiative (e.g. the organizer, other planned participants); the requested amount (based on estimated costs, e.g. travel).
- If the application is submitted by the author himself, an invitation from the event organizer must also be attached.
- Applications can be submitted throughout the year, on an ongoing basis, but no later than two months before the departure date.
- Applications are considered on an ongoing basis. The average time for feedback is approximately 2 weeks.
- In the event of a positive decision, the formalities and procedure for providing support are determined individually in consultation with the applicant..
Publishers and agents travels
- The aim is to support the applicant's efforts to sell the rights to books of represented Polish authors.
- The completed form (available for download below), containing a description of the planned undertaking, should be sent to targi@instytutksiazki.pl. Please include the text "Non stop - Polish literature abroad" in the title of the email.
- Applications can be submitted throughout the year, on an ongoing basis, but no later than two months before the event begins.
- During their consideration, the following will be taken into account: the nature of the event and its scope, the potential of the planned activities and their significance for the popularization of Polish literature abroad, the suitability of the activities regarding the current strategy of the Book Institute, the current financial and organizational capabilities of the Institute.
- In the event of a positive response to the application, the formula and procedure for granting the subsidy will be discussed individually. The average time for providing feedback is approximately 3 weeks.
- The subsidy will be paid after the trip, based on a report on the activities carried out during the trip.
- In 2025, it is assumed that one publisher/agent may receive funding for one trip per year.
