“Selected Works in Verse and Prose” by Jan Kochanowski with support from the Book Institute
A selection of Jan Kochanowski's works has recently been published in the Netherlands and the UK. The translation by Charles S. Kraszewski was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.
The collection Selected Works in Verse and Prose was recently released by the Dutch-British publishing house Glagoslav Publications.
As part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme, the Book Institute has also supported other translations of Charles S. Kraszewski: Mickiewicz's Dziady (“Forefather's Eve”, Glagoslav Publications, 2016; full four-part edition of the drama), a selection of plays by Juliusz Słowacki (“Four Plays”, Glagoslav Publications, 2017), Stanisław Wyspiański's Akropolis (Glagoslav Publications, 2016), Adam Mickiewicz's Sonnets (Glagoslav Publications, 2018), a selection of plays by Cyprian Norwid (Dramatic Works, Glagoslav Publications, 2022), Adam Mickiewicz’s Ballady i romanse (“Ballads and Romances”, Glagoslav Publications, 2022), as well as Władysław Reymont’s Bunt (“The Revolt of the Animals, Glagoslav Publications, 2022).
