On the first day of the 60^th anniversary edition of the Children's Book Fair in Bologna, the prestigious Premio BOP awards were presented. The title of best European children's publisher was awarded to Old Lion Publishing House.

The Premio BOP - Bologna Prize for the Best Children's Publisher of the Year is the most prestigious award for children's publishers in the world, presented annually to the best publishers from each of the world's six continents.

In addition to the Old Lion Publishing House in Lviv, the awards went to Trinta Zero Nove (Mozambique), Wonder House Books (India), Editorial Amanuta (Chile), La Courte Échelle (Canada), and Magabala Books (Australia).

It is worth recalling that five years ago, this prestigious award was presented to the publishing house Dwa Siostry.
