The Polish Book Institute

A translation of Maria Dek's book W lesie (“A Walk in the Forest”) has been published in the Netherlands. The book was translated by Charlotte Pothuizen. The publication was supported by the Book Institute within the ©POLAND Translation Programme.

The book In het bos, as reads the Dutch title of A Walk in the Forest, has been published by the capital's publishing house Boycott.

Last year, two other translations by Charlotte Pothuizen were published in the Netherlands with the support of the ©Poland Translation Programme and were superbly received by the local press: Król (“The King of Warsaw”) by Szczepan Twardoch and Sezon w Wenecji (“A Season in Venice”) by Włodzimierz Odojewski.
