In Denmark, the translation of Krew Elfów (“Blood of Elves”) by Rune Brandt Larsen has been published. The publication of Andrzej Sapkowski's book was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.
The first part of the Witcher saga, Blood of Elves, was published by the Copenhagen publishing house Gyldendal. The Polish Book Institute has recently supported other numerous translations of the books penned by the giant of Polish fantasy, including translations into Portuguese (published both in Portugal and Brazil), Romanian, Greek, and Korean.
In recent years, as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme, Rune Brandt Larsen translated, among others, Sapkowski's Miecz przeznaczenia (“The Sword of Destiny”), Dziennik 1953-58 (“1953-58 Diaries”) and Kosmos (“Cosmos”) by Witold Gombrowicz, D.O.M.E.K. (“H.O.U.S.E.”) by Aleksandra and Daniel Mizieliński, and D.E.S.I.G.N. by Ewa Solarz.
