Tomorrow kicks off the Book Fair in Leipzig – one of Germany’s largest events for readers, writers, publishers, and representatives of the book and media industry.
The Book Institute is joining the Leipzig Branch of the Polish Institute in Berlin to prepare the fair booth, which will be displaying new publications. They are also organizing events for the Leipzig Reads program (Leipzig liest). Among these will be meetings with Wioletta Grzegorzewska and Michał Książek, featuring translator Renate Schmidgall. Readers will also have the chance to talk with Magdalena Parys, Liliana Bardijewska, and Mikołaj Łoziński.
The detailed Leipzig liest polnische Literatur program can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/events/929916810519292/
The fair runs until Sunday 18 March.
