In April, Włodzimierz Odojewski's translation of Sezon w Wenecji (“A Season in Venice”) was published in the Netherlands. Charlotte Pothuizen's translation, superbly received by the press, was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©Poland Translation Programme.
Odojewski's story is known for its excellent screen adaptation of Jan Jakub Kolski (Venice). Its translation in Dutch was published by the Querido publishing house.
So far, positive reviews have appeared in the "NRC" and "De Volkstrant" newspapers (you can read them here and here respectively).
