The Hugo Award is one of the most prestigious awards in the field of science fiction. It is awarded annually by participants of the Worldcon (World Science Fiction Convention) for science-fiction and fantasy works. It is named after Hugo Gernsback, founder of the award and founder of SF magazine "Amazing Stories".
The winners will be traditionally announced in August.
