The Polish Book Institute

A translation of the comic book Malutki Lisek i Wielki Dzik. Świt  (“Tiny Fox and Great Boar. Dawn”) by Berenika Kołomycka has been published in Norway. The publication of the book translated by Knut Inge Andersen was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.

The comic book Tiny Fox and Great Boar was published in Norway by Andersens Forlag. It tells the story of two best friends who stick together at all times. They traverse forests and meadows, exploring the unknown. They are seeking answers to their questions: what is the mysterious “MBDL” and why are we sad when things don't go our way? What does the Shadow of Sadness look like and why should you not get caught by it? But most importantly, they always get out of trouble because they have each other. An excellent comic book for the youngest readers!

The comic book was awarded in the second edition of the 'Janusz Christa Children's Comic Book Competition'.
