The International Book Fair in Frankfurt was inaugurated yesterday. The event has returned as an in-person edition, although some of the events take place online.
The Book Institute is waiting for visitors at a 200 m2 stand located in Hall 4.0. The international audience is introduced to books from the "New Books from Poland 2021" catalogue, a selection of the best Polish fantasy and science-fiction books, as well as award-winning children's books. We are also reminding the visitors of the impressive achievements of the Copyright Poland Translation Programme, thanks to which more than 2,500 books by Polish authors have been published worldwide. As with every year, Frankfurt will also see the premiere of the trade brochure "Polish Book Market", providing trade audiences with knowledge about the country's book market.
Eighteen exhibitors from the publishing industry showcase their offerings at the Polish collective stand: Wydawnictwo Literackie, Grupa Wydawnicza Foksal, Dwie Siostry, Zielona Sowa, Nasza Księgarnia, Adamada, Druganoga, The University of Warsaw Press, the AMU Publishing House (Wydawnictwo Naukowe UAM), Super Memo, Bzgraf, Bosz, Ozgraf, Pario Print, Narodowe Centrum Kultury, Literacka, Glossa, and Mamy dla Mamy.
