The Polish Book Institute

In Albania, Henryk Sienkiewicz's W pustyni i w puszczy (“In Desert and Wilderness”) was recently published. The publication of the book translated by Edlira Lloha was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.

Sienkiewicz's classic novel Shkretëtirë dhe pyllnajë, as reads its title in the Albanian translation, was published by the Uegen publishing house in Tirana.

With the support of the ©Poland Translation Programme, Edlira Lloha has previously translated Witold Gombrowicz's Dziennik (“Diary”), Ferdydurke, and Trans-Atlantyk, as well as Zbigniew Herbert's Król mrówek (“The King of the Ants”).
