(born 1963) Polish historian, journalist, columnist, political commentator, theatre critic, and prose writer.
 

A graduate of historical studies at the Faculty of History at the University of Warsaw (1990), he wrote his master's thesis entitled Nowy Ład Roosevelta w ujęciu różnych kierunków politycznych międzywojennej Polski ('Roosevelt's New Order in terms of the various political directions of interwar Poland') under the supervision of Andrzej Garlicki. For several years, he worked as a history teacher at the XXIII Maria Skłodowska-Curie Sixth Form College, and, in the first year of Lech Walesa's presidency, he worked in the National Security Bureau.

Since 1991 he has been working as a journalist, among others in ‘Życie Warszawy’ (1991-1996 as a reporter), "Zycie" (1996-1998 as head of opinion division), 'Nowe Panstwo' (1998-2002 as deputy editor-in-chief), ‘Newsweek’ (member of the editorial office 2003-2010). Since October 2010, he has been a journalist of ‘Rzeczpospolita’, and from February 2011 to November 2012, he worked at 'Uważam Rze' weekly. He has also published in ‘Gazeta Polska’, ‘Gazeta Wyborcza’, ‘Dziennik’,  ‘Polska The Times’, and ‘Tygodnik Powszechny’.
