The London Book Fair begun
The London Book Fair – one of the most important book fairs in the publishing world – begun yesterday. The Book Institute is organising a Polish stand, as it does every year, in order to make it easier for domestic publishers to establish business contacts and to enable the sale of copyrights and thus increase the presence of Polish literature on foreign markets.

“The Polish Truman Capote of poetry” – “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung” on Krzysztof Siwczyk
At the end of February, the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung” published a piece by Artur Becker on the work of Krzysztof Siwczyk. The poet was also a guest at Berlin's Haus der Kulturen der Welt as part of the international meeting series “Utopia Eastern Europe”.

The Book Institute supported the French translation of "Daj gryza" by the Mizielińscy and Baranowska
Aleksandra Mizielińska, Daniel Mizieliński, and Natalia Baranowska's book Daj gryza. Smakowite historie o jedzeniu (”Take a Bite: Eat Your Way Around the World”) has been published in France. The publication of the translation by Frédéric Constant was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©Poland Translation Programme.
