The next round of submissions for the ©POLAND Translation Program will take place from 1 September to 31 October 2019.

The Book Institute supported the Czech translation of Marek Bieńczyk's “Tworki”

The Czech translation of Tworki has been recently published. The book was translated by Michael Alexey. The translation of Marek Bieńczyk's novel has been supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.

The Book Institute supported the Macedonian translation of „Zniewolony umysł” by Czesław Miłosz

The translation of Zniewolony umysł (“The Captive Mind”) into the Macedonian language has recently been published. The translation of Czesław Miłosz's classic essay was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.

The Book Institute supported the Greek translation of Zygmunt Miłoszewski's “Ziarno prawdy”

In Greece, the translation of Ziarno prawdy (“A Grain of Truth”) was published. The book was translated by Anastasia Chatzigiannidi. The publication of Zygmunt Miłoszewski's novel was supported by the Book Institute as part of the ©POLAND Translation Programme.

Small Book – Great Man

The social campaign "Small Book – Great Man" reminds us of the benefits of reading together in a family from the first months of a child's life. It was devised in connection with a nationwide campaign, as part of which young parents will receive unique Reading Layettes in maternity wards.

CZYTAJ PL

The largest readership promotion campaign in Poland, and probably in the world. In this year's edition, in 500 cities and towns, there could be found free e-book rentals, available for everyone. They were available at bus stops, libraries, and cultural institutions. The Book Institute is a strategic partner of the campaign.
